Brian Schwartz began his martial arts training in September 1980. He achieved the rank of black belt in 1990. He is currently a 3rd degree black belt and a certified instructor with Golden State Martial Arts. He is a 6-time World Karate Champion and a World Champion Kickboxer.
Private Lessons: Yes. Proper technique/form for kickboxing and boxing on and off the bag, as well as mitt work and core work.
I started competing in 2003 as an amateur in Hawaii then moved to California in 2009 to make the jump to professional boxing. I began my boxing career at Undisputed in February of 2010. I have since turned pro and continues to fight on the Undisputed team.
Private Lessons: Yes. Boxing and Conditioning by using ladder drills, mitt work, bag work, sparring, and proper offensive and defensive drills.
Mike began his career as a personal trainer in 1993. As a strength and conditioning specialist, Mike focuses on progressive core strengthening, plyometrics, and agility both on the field and in the gym.
Private Lessons: Yes. Applies resistance training techniques, stability and core work, as well as overall strength training.
Mr. Jensen is a 6th-degree black belt and the Head Instructor of Golden State Taekwondo. He has studied martial arts since 1972 and has taught since 1976. His students have not only won many national and international championships, but have also gone on to become certified instructors themselves.
Private Lessons: Yes. All aspects of Taekwondo, such as skills, respect, discipline, form and structure.
Jenna has been in the fitness industry since she was 19 years old as an instructor and has been training in the field of martial arts since she was 9 years old. She is as dedicated and passionate in the ring as she is in front of a class. Jenna won the IKF Muay Thai World Title in 2009.

Debbie Pedersen is the Co-founder of Golden State Taekwondo. She began training in 1977 and is now a 5th-degree black belt. She was twice the U.S. National Silver Medalist in Olympic-style Taekwondo competition, and has become widely recognized for coaching and training elite level women athletes.

Kevin Montgomery started his training at Mackowski's Taekwondo in 1977. He received his black belt in 1980, and his 3rd-degree at Golden State in 1995. He also holds a black belt in karate.

Jake Richardson is a former collegiate football player and current amateur boxer. He received his AA & BS in Kinesiology and Exercise science and is equipped in weight, plyometric, and speed and agility training.
Personal Training: Yes. During his sessions you can anticipate bodyweight and resistance exercises with cardiovascular activities including basic boxing training.

DeAnn Teixeira has been a personal trainer and fitness instructor since 1998. She has her Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Nutrition, her CPT from NSCA, and is educated by Wellcoaches as a wellness coach.

Eric Lee started his training at Mackowski's Taekwondo in 1978. He began training the day Mr. Jensen began teaching, and is the first of Chris Jensen's students to have received a black belt. He received his 3rd-degree rank in 1993 at Golden State.

David has been involved with fitness for more than 20 years and began teaching at UBG in 2013. While attending UC Davis, he was a member of the UC Davis Rowing Team from 1991 -1993, and a member of the UC Davis Cycling Team from 1994-1996. He been an active, avid cyclist since 1994.
I am educated in sports nutrition and I love sharing my gift, knowledge and creativity in fitness with others. I believe there are many facets to fitness, and every component is equally important to create balance. Your body responds to change, so the more you can mix it up the better.
After attending her first yoga class on a whim for college credit in the early 2000's, years later Emma is hooked and never looking back. Solidifying her commitment to the practice she completed her 200 hour power/vinyasa instructor training at Los Gatos YogaSource under the direction of Linda McGrath. Emma's classes are a whole hearted mix of strength and flexibility, the perfect balance to any lifestyle.
Jesse Walls is a former collegiate football player and current National Physique Competitor. Walls studied Kinesiology and is A NASM certified personal trainer. While in college he worked for Genesis Health Club where he was a Member Rep and Spin Instructor.

A certified Schwinn Cycling Instructor since 2009 and a radio and club DJ since he was 13 years old, Alex brings a true musical passion, soul, and flow to all of his fitness classes that are heavily centered on great melodies and rhythms. One of Alex’s greatest passions is fitness - he has been a competitive distance runner and golfer most of his life and loves cross-training with cycling, boxing, the TRX, and bootcamps. Undisputed's Triple Threat is his favorite workout of the week.
Brennon began his martial arts training at Golden State in 1991 and received his 2nd-degree black belt in 2010. Brennon assumed teaching responsibility for his own classes starting in 2004, focused on teaching juniors (both beginner and open/more advanced).

Marty started Kenpo Karate in Burlingame in 1973 at age 13, earning his Black Belt in 1976. He also trained in Wing Chun Gung Fu during that time with Chris Chan in San Francisco. He received a blackbelt in Taekwondo in 2003 and at Golden State Taekwondo in 2010.
Ryan Jandu started training at Golden State since 2002 and received his black belt in 2006. He's been competing in Sport Karate tournaments locally and nationally since 2003 in point-fighting and forms divisions. Aside from his class, he helps with the junior tournament team.
Prithy Bhattacharya started training at Golden State in 2001, and received his black belt in 2006. After helping teach classes for several years, he started teaching his own class in 2008.
He received his 2nd-degree black belt in 2010.
He has been competing in Sport Karate tournaments locally and nationally for 7 years.
