Boxing
Classes will cover proper punching technique, defensive movement and footwork using heavy bags and punching mitts. The hour will be broken down into 3 minute intervals with 1 minute rests in order to provide a pro boxing experience. We will wrap up the hour by focusing on muscle burning abs and tone building push-ups. You will be learning the "sweet science" in no time.
Kick Boxing
Classes will teach you the art of kicking and punching. Students will learn defensive movement and proper kicking and punching techniques using heavy bags and punching mitts. A grueling push–up and sit–up session will follow the kickboxing to give you a core and upper–body burn! This class provides the all body workout you've been looking for.
Boxing Conditioning
We invite people of all fitness levels to experience a unique and challenging 90–minute workout. Sport specific to boxing, this workout focuses on training techniques found in a boxer's regimen. With 60 minutes devoted to core strength, you will see and feel the difference in your abs. The conditioning drills are followed by 30 minutes of intense heavy bag rounds; this class will get you ready to step into the ring!
Cardio Kickboxing
Remember Billy Blanks and his famous Tae Bo? You won't after you meet Charles and his killer Cardio Kickboxing class! He will have your heart pounding and your sweat dripping with high power combination punches and kicks. With a concentration on form and repetition, this class will give you an awesome workout and teach you technique and good footwork.
BootCamp
Do you want everything rolled into one? This class combines cardio kickboxing, bag training and strength training to give you a total body workout. This high–energy class will push you to reach new levels of fitness. It will target every area of your body and help get you in the best shape of your life.
Jump Rope and Weight Interval
Haven't jumped rope since grade school? You probably didn't know what a great workout it is! Take your workout up a notch with a high impact combo of cardio and weight training. With the combined efforts of classic jump roping and free weights, you have the ultimate full body workout.
Mixed Martial Arts
This 90–minute class will take you through a series of techniques designed to impart the skills and instincts of a MMA fighter. This progression will culminate with advanced techniques to use when combining wrestling with striking and ground fighting. Students that join in the middle of this progression will receive instruction in previous techniques during drill time.
Butts and Guts
This class was specifically designed to target those "hard to get areas." It starts off with a half hour of cardio that will get your heart pumping. The next 15 minutes focuses solely in the glutes, or the "butt" area. The remaining 15 minutes is devoted to ab work to strengthen that core. So, if you’ve wanted those ripped abs and tight booty, come take this class!
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu-Luta Livre
Luta Livre is a form of Brazilian Jui Jitsu that is a system of wrestling which incorporates both submissions and strikes. This 90 minute class consists of grappling and striking techniques. Some degrees of grappling techniques used are throwing, trapping, joint locking, holds, disengagements, striking, and kicking.
Wrestling
For those interested in wrestling, this class is a perfect match. This intense 90-minute class centers on fighter style wrestling, and is taught by UFC Veteran and AAU National Freestyle Wrestling Champion, Tim Lacyk. Throughout this class, you will learn proper wrestling techniques, and the conditioning necessary for fighting through take-downs, submission holds, and grappling defense. This class is open to anyone wanting to focus on wrestling, and all should come prepared for the intensity that entails.
Pro–Training
This is a workout that you can't beat. Taught by World Champion Kickboxer, Brian Schwartz, this class is a 90–minute combination of everything you could ever want: a half hour of cardio, followed by an hour of bag and ab work. He will take you through a series of routines that focuses on kicks and punches, with intense bag intervals in between. This class is a non–stop extreme workout, but the combination of burning the calories while learning the forms and techniques of a boxer, will have you coming back for more each week.
Youth Boxing
Does your son or daughter need to release some tension and burn off excess energy? This 60–minute class is exactly what the doctor ordered. Your child will learn the proper stances, movements, and punches used in real boxing. Utilizing equipment such as heavy bags, speed bags, double end bags, and punch mitts, your child will develop speed, strength, and agility. Training like a pro boxer will not only provide your child with overall body conditioning, but will also teach them the discipline necessary to master a skill. No actual contact is necessary, but is available with parental consent. For ages 8–15.
Triple Threat
This unique 90–minute class is broken up into three brutal half hour workouts–each taught by 3 different instructors—cardio, kickboxing, and boot camp drills. Each "mini-class" flies by because you're too busy sweating to even look at the clock! The workout will begin with 30 minutes of cardio– be it running outside or cardio–kickboxing, followed by non–stop vigorous bag work for another 30, and finally culminating with another 30 minutes of fierce boot camp drills. Each instructor brings their own flavor, and therefore is like getting 3 separate classes in one! This is a take-no-prisoners workout and is a great way to welcome in the weekend.
