Golden State TKD will be hosting a Hands On Introduction to Tai Chi taught by Michael Dorgan, Director of the Hunyuan Martial Arts Academy of San Jose.

Saturday Aug. 27th / 1pm-4pm.

This hands on introduction will cover the history and theory on Tai Chi, as well as all the major components. Those include:

• the internal gong exercises for developing martial power and health
• the single-person forms that contain the martial techniques
• the two person "push hands" exercises that teach players to apply those techniques on an opponent

Michael Dorgan has trained in Taiji for more than 30 years. For nearly six years, he has lived and trained in Beijing, China, where he became a formal disciple, or "indoor student," of Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang.
